We are the luckiest people alive

To have such an amazing friends. Kim, Mike, Allie and Ava mean the world to us. Kimmi took our first family photo shoot and she did it again.. she just took the most wonderful and beautiful pictures of our family!!! and we couldnt be more grateful, thankful and happy to see such wonderful pictures of us. It's not just the pictures but who takes them, Kim knows exactly how to capture the best of us. I am so thankful and I wanna say to Mike, Kim, Allie and Ava.... HARMS AND LARSON'S FOREVER!

I forgot her hair clip

I bought this clip to go with her shirt on Etsy. This lady made it inspired by Shawn Johnson! So I got it for Maddy to wear when we go see her. She was so excited about her hair clip! Isnt it the cutest thing ever?! A Shawn Johnson hair clip!

Maddy's new shirt!

So we are going to see Shawn Johnson on October 5th.. we cannot wait. So we decided to get Maddy something to wear (she wants to wear her leotard too) but something for that special day. She wanted something with Shawn Johnson but we couldnt find any shirt with her on it. So we found her this shirt. LOL so cool!!!

Madison is going to meet Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin!

That's right... Madison and mommy have a special date on October 5th. I bought tickets for Madison to go see the 2008 World Gymnastics Tour with Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin! We got her 2nd row seats. Madison is just so excited. She said she is going to wear her gymnastics leotard. We are hoping that we can get autographs from them. Madison was jumping up and down when I showed her the commercial that I found on internet. I cannot wait!

Gymnastics!

Madison is just sooo talented for this sport. Her coach came out on her second day of class to tell me that Madison has THE talent for gymnastics. I am so proud of her. She truly loves it. She loves Shawn Johnson and doing back flips. Here are some pics that Renee took of Maddy during gymnastics class.

She will be 7 months old next week!! She is growing so fast. Here are some new pics of my little Meuuuanie. She is just the sweetest baby. She is crawling and just enjoying life. She loves her big sissy and she loves to play.

Friends forever

Paige, Jillian and Emma moved to Texas on wednesday. It was so hard to say goodbye when we are so happy for them that they are finally with their family. We will be praying along the way for them and for Mark who will be in his last tour to Iraq for the last time before he leaves the army. Kim took a photoshoot of Jillian, Madison, Allison, Emma, Melanie and Ava. Here are just a couple of pics that we took while Kim did the photoshoot. We will post those when Kim is done with the session. We will miss you guys so much and we love you very much Shepherd Family!!!

Build A Bear birthday party!

So Madison's birthday party was at Build A Bear Workshop. She had a blast and we couldnt ask for anything better. All her little friends came to celebrate her birthday with her and she was just so excited. They all had a blast and everybody got a Build a Bear to take home. Madison picked out a white bear and she dressed the bear with a gymnastics outfit. She called her bear "Shawn Johnson" imagine that LOL. She was so excited. After the party we went to cut her cake and open presents at the food court.

So we had a crazy birthday weekend... we had 4 birthday parties in 3 days. We had Madison's birthday on the 15th so we decided to take her to Chuck E Cheese. She loved it. We hung out at home with E and Talia and then we opened presents. She got her dolls and she loves them. She has been playing with them everyday although we dont have any names yet. Here are some pics of her birthday (well.. her actual birthday. We had her party on my birthday LOL I know.. very confusing). Enjoy!

Happy Birthday my sweet little Princess!

I cannot believe my baby is 3.. its 12:27 am and I am just thinking how fast time goes by. It feels like it was yesterday when I was 15 days overdue and so anxious to meet her and today... she is 3 and a beautiful little girl with an amazing personality, the cutest laugh, the most athletic talent on a 3 year old and my future little gymnast. I am so blessed to have her in our lives and Maddy... you have made daddy, mommy and your brother and sister's life so wonderful and so blessed that words cannot explain how happy you make us.
We love you with all of our heart.

No more toothless gummi smiles!

Melanie got her first tooth today.. my little baby woke up with a tooth poking thru her gummi and now she has a second one about to poke thru too. I just cannot believe how fast she has grown. She looks so cute with her new little toofer and she is a little less uncomfortable now that it has poke thru her gum. Now we have another one waiting to come out. Somebody please make her stop growing!

Why mommy Why??!!!

Baby jail that is.. lol.. Melanie will not stop rolling. She literally will roll across the room and with a toddler going up and down the stairs and leaving the basement door open we decided to get Melanie a play yard so that way she would be a little safer while playing on the floor when Im cleaning or doing something else.. She really liked it because we put all of her baby toys and the playyard has a mirror and toys so she had a blast!

We took Maddy to Chuck E Cheese and she loved playing Mario Kart, the game took her picture and put her face on the character so she wanted to be Princess Peach LOL here is the result...

So my Kimmi will be taking our family pics, Madison's 3rd year pics and Melanie's 6 months pics.. I know, a lot! We will be taking the pics this month and I cannot wait! We are in the search for outfits right now. I just love Kim Harms Photography. I am addicted to it!

2 more weeks!

And my little princess will be 3!! Gosh seriously that where did time go? Now, my little baby will be 3 years old. We have a huge party planned for her.. Build a Bear! We ordered her cake today and she was so excited. That was our last thing to do before the big day. We bought her American Dolls and matching outfits for her birthday, we get the catalogs all the time and everytime we get them she gets so excited..looks at it and tells me which one she wants. Little that she knows that she has 2 American Dolls waiting for her! 2 more weeks Maddy! Here is her special 3rd birthday presents! What do you think?? I think they look just like her hehe

6th month check up!

Melanie is 6 months old!!! Thats's half year.. she has grown so fast. I took her to the dr today and here are the stats...

At birth: 5 lbs 11 oz
17.5 inches long

At 1 month: 7 lbs 1 oz
20 inches long

At 2 months: 8 lbs 4 oz
20 3/4 inches long

At 4 months: 10 lbs 15 oz
23 1/4 inches long

At 6 months: 13 lbs 3 oz
25 inches long

Life goes by so fast thats for sure. Melanie is now rolling everywhere, sitting a little, eating solids, picking up toys and playing with them, laughing out loud, etc. She has made our lives so wonderful and she has made her sister the happiest big sister ever. Life cannot get any better than this and I thank God everyday and Matthew for sending us Melanie.
Her doctor was so suprised on how strong and advance she is for being a preemie. She saw her rolling and standing up while holding my fingers and she was very happy to see how healthy she is. She got 4 shots which bled a lot but she got over it quick.
She goes back at 9 months.

Let the woman talk!

Melanie was having a very serious conversation with her buddy.. Mrs Rabbit. She talked to the bunny for about 20 mins. Very very serious conversation. I still dont know what exactly was that all about but I just know that Melanie was on a mission.
