R.I.P Melissa

We received extremely bad news.. Melissa a wonderful mom has gone to heaven. She was in a motorcycle accident a few weeks ago that caused her to have surgery. On October 22nd she was called to heaven. They believed it was a blood clot that was the result of her surgery on her leg that caused her death. We are deeply sorry for her loss and she will be greatly missed. She has two boys.. Nathan and Clayton that I cannot even imagine the pain that they must be going thru. Please pray for her and for her sweet little boys.
We will miss you Melissa!

Remembering Matthew...

It seems like it was yesterday when our family was going thru the most difficult time of our lives. Matthew came into our lives and we didnt know that he was not here to stay, today he would have been 18 months old from the day he was born. I struggle everyday with his death but I always think that one day we will all be together.
To my little baby boy...
Words will never described the pain that mommy feels from not having you with me to hold you, see you grow up, take you to soccer practice, watch you play with trucks, give you a popsicle, read you stories... but mommy pictures you in a wonderful place where pain and suffering doesnt exist.. with God. One day we will all be together and we will continue our life as a family. You will always be our son, our precious little brave man that endured more than anybody could imagine. As I am sitting here looking at your picture thinking about how thats the only thing that I hold on to and watching your candle burn for this special day where we remember you and all of your little angel friends in heaven I think of all the things that you taught us. Be brave little man like you have always been and mommy will continue to make your memory remain in everybody that are part of our lives and we will continue our journey until we meet again...
I am so proud of you.. you make mommy so happy and I am so proud and so grateful that you chose me to be your mommy.
I love you more than words will ever be able to say.
Your mommy.
What Makes A Mother
I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today,
I asked, "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard him say:
A Mother has a baby,
This we know is true
But, God, can you be a mother
When your baby's not with you?
Yes, you can, he replied
With confidence in his voice,
I give many women babies,
When they leave it is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day,
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay.
I just don't understand this God,
I want my baby here.
He took a breath, and cleared his throat,
And then I saw a tear.
I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing Here...
If you could see your child smile
With other children and say,
"We go to earth to learn our lessons of love and life and fear,
but My mommy loved me so much I got to come straight here!"
I feel so lucky to have a Mom who had so much love for me,
I learned my lessons very quickly,
My Mommy set me free.
I miss my Mommy oh so much
But I visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillow is where I lay.
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear,"Mommy, Please don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I am here"
So you see my dear sweet one,
Your children are okay.
Your babies are here in My home,
And this is where they'll stay.
They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lessons there are through,
And on the day that you come home,
they'll be at the gates waiting for you
So now you see
What makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart,
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.

Sister time

Maddy and Melanie love spending time together.. I mean they just love playing and hanging out. I was cleaning the other day and this is what I found.. I am so happy they have each other. They will be best friends for life!

Her hair do

This was Maddy's hair do to go see the Gymnastics Tour.. she loved it. She kept telling daddy.. Look daddy I look beautiful! hehehe

She met her!! She actually met her!

Shawn Johnson that is! That's right! We went to the gymnastics tour yesterday and we were waiting before the exhibition and we saw Maddy's coach Miss Kathy. She was coaching one of the girls from Maddy's gym that was invited to do an exhibition and we went to say hi to Miss Kathy. All of the sudden Shawn started walking towards us! She was right in front of us and she said hi to Maddy!! Maddy kept telling Miss Kathy.. Look Look Miss Kaffy (she cant say Kathy lol) its my Shawn Johnson! I love my Shawn Johnson! hehehe So Shawn said hi to Madison and off she went! She is a very nice girl but sooooo busy! The whole tour was awesome and Maddy had a blast. After we left I had to pick her up and drag her out of the Arena after a lovely tantrum because she kept telling me that it was her turn to do gymnastics lol. Here are some pics of last night. We couldnt get a pic with Shawn because as soon as she started saying hi to Maddy she was called to get ready so she ran but at least she got to meet her in person! We had 1st row seats so we saw them so close! Oh and the blonde lady chatting with Nastia on the pic is Maddy's coach Miss Kathy!

Getting ready for the tour!

Maddy finally got her wish. We got her leotard today (like Shawn Johnson) so she can wear it for class but especially for the Gymnastics Tour that we are going to go see on Sunday. It fits her great and she did not want to take it off. She loved it. She kept saying.. look look its my Shawn Johnson outfit! She also got another one long sleeve. They had the competition for levels 3 and 4 today so we got to see it and they also had leo's for sale so we got one.
Only 2 more days and she will get to see a real gymnastics exhibition!

Here it is!

Madison had a good class today! She continues to do awesome and I can tell that the more she goes to gymnastics the more she knows the routine and all the exercises. They worked on bars today again and now I can tell that she knows what to do. Hopefully soon she will be able to do some things without help. I saw the class that was going after Maddy's.. its the preschool advance class. Miss Kathy mentioned that class before about how she wants Maddy at some point to go in it. I really hope she does. They dont start for another year or so so Im hoping that during this time she will get to practice and maybe later on to be invited to be in it.
Here's a video that I took today of Maddy doing full back tucks on the harness. She just seems so little to me right next to everybody else.. lol like a baby on a jumperoo hahaha but like I said before, gymnastics is the one sport where being little and muscular is definitely an advantage lol.
