Madison flips for gymnastics!

She started her new class with the head coach Miss Kathy. They had a pretty big class because aparently some kids are ready to move up in age group so this week and next the class was going to be bigger than normal. She had class in the big gym finally just what she wanted. Nana and Pops went to see her too. They worked on trampoline this week and she did a back flip all by herself!! No help at all! A full back flip!!!!!
After class I went downstairs to pick her up and Miss Kathy told me that Madison did just amazing. She told me that Maddy listens so good and that she definitely has the talent for gymnastics. I asked Maddy if she told Miss Kathy that she had tickets to go see Shawn Johnson and Miss Kathy told Maddy that she was going to be there too. So all of the sudden Maddy started jumping up and down screaming.. I wanna see Shawn Johnson!! I wanna see Shawn Johnson.. Miss Kathy said that she just couldnt get over Madison hehehe that she just loved her!
So I can definitely see Maddy staying with her for a looooong time. She loved her new class and her new coach!

My little baby boy

I just dont even know how to begin... I prolly wont explain much but I think of him so much... all day and everyday. I see little boys and I think how would Matthew look right now. I see little boys and I wonder how wonderful life would be with him here. I punish myself everyday when I wish he was here. Because it would not be fair for Melanie but not thinking and wishing he was here would be unfair for Matthew. I wish both of my kids were here. All of us together... without leaving one behind. I wish life was different sometimes. That I would be the person I was before April 9th, 2007 when we found out he was going to die. Life is not that easy. But life is also so wonderful. I see Melanie and I thank God for sending her to us. I see Melanie and I thank Matthew for taking care of her. I now understand that Matthew left this world to let his sister come, but I still wish both of my kids would be here. I love him so much, more than words can say. He is my little boy... mommy's little man and daddy's little buddy. He is the love of my life... the baby that I will never know. I will see him one day and our family one day will be together again.. all of us. I found this poem that made me think of him so much. I picture him in a cloud playing with my dad... playing with his grandpa. My dad would have been so proud of me... so proud of the beautiful children that Matt and I have. And I am sure he is taking care of his grandson. I wanted to share a picture of his footprints.. the proof that I have that a little angel walked in this earth... better yet... I gave birth to an angel.. I love you so much sweetie and mommy, daddy and your sisters will always be there with you...

LITTLE ONE, LITTLE ONE,
WHERE HAVE YOU GONE ?
YOUR GOING HAS DARKENED THE BRIGHTEST DAWN.
WHY DID YOU LEAVE US SO SOON,SO SOON?
WHERE CAN WE LOOK FOR YOU ?
OVER THE MOON?
ON BUTTERFLIES' WINGS?
IN THE HEART OF A ROSE?
WHO KNOWS, WHO KNOWS,
WHERE A LITTLE ONE GOES?
WHERE I HAVE GONE,
I AM NOT SO SMALL.
MY SOUL IS AS WIDE AS THE WORLD IS TALL.
MOMMY I HAVE GONE TO ANSWER THE CALL,
THE CALL OF THE ONE WHO TAKES CARE OF US ALL.
WHEREVER YOU LOOK,
YOU WILL FIND ME THERE-
IN THE HEART OF A ROSE,
IN THE HEART OF A PRAYER.
ON BUTTERFLIES' WINGS,
ON WINGS OF MY OWN,
TO YOU, I'M GONE, BUT I'M NEVER ALONE-
I'M OVER THE MOON.
I AM FINALLY HOME.

What a big girl!

She rode in her little push buggy yesterday for the first time.. and she loved it! Can you believe how grown up she looks in it? She is growing so fast!

9/11 We remember

In Memory

What was it you had said?
Why did you have to go?
Each simple little memory
Now passes by so slow.
I am stuck in the yesterday
Not wanting to accept
The horrid truth that you are gone
Your life taken without threat
This morning you awoke
To face a brand new day
But a cold-hearted terrorist
Took that gift away
Though the grave cry for the lost
In the settling of the dust
They failed to shake our foundation
For in God we put our trust.

She's back!

Maddy had her first day at school without mommy and daddy. Last week was her first day but we went with her for orientation. It was a very emotional morning. She has been with me since day 1 just the two of us and then Melanie, mommy and Maddy, her world has been her home and mommy, daddy and sissy, and now she is starting to go into the real world. New friends, new people, new places. It was very emotional for me to leave her at school and say goodbye to her.. Maddy was fine. She was so excited to be in school with Allison. We dropped them off, signed them in and gave Maddy a kiss goodbye and I told her I love you and mommy will come back later. And that was it. My baby is now a preschooler. I cried on the way home.. I have to admit that I did. She is my baby. Its true when my mom used to say.. you will understand when you are a mommy too. And she was right. You really dont know until you have your own kids. We are so proud of her. I went to pick her up and Kim and I looked at the girls thru the door and they were having so much fun. It was so amazing to hear how was her very first day and she told me what book they read, what they did, what did they eat, etc. So off we go! To a new year of new things for both of us. Gymnastics, Ballet and now Preschool!
Here are some pics
